Seb is a fully qualified teacher with over 10 years experience, over which he has taught, supported and inspired hundreds of students across thousands of hours of lesson time. He has taught both A-levels and GCSEs as well as the IB (International Baccalaureate Diploma) and younger year groups, including KS2, KS3, 13+/common entrance exam preparation. He has experience teaching the following exam boards: AQA, Edexcel, CIE, OCR, Eduqas/WJEC, as well as IBDP. Seb has worked as an AQA examiner, giving him first-hand experience with the exam technique required to get high marks in exams. He has had a very large and diverse range of clients, including various SEND students and has also tutored university students in Geography, having guided them through essay and dissertation submissions and exams. Seb has worked as a Geography teacher in independent as well as state schools in and around London for many years, teaching GCSEs and A-Levels as well as KS3. He has tutored Geography on an international level in South Korea, and in Kenya for a private placement. Exam technique is a vital component towards success in a Geography exam (as well as in many other subjects). We specialise in teaching students the right exam technique with a strong focus on longer answer and essay questions, to maximise exam marks. Residential Tutoring Placements
Residential tutoring placements involve travelling regionally or internationally to tutor a client face to face for a period of a few days up to a few months. The client will be expected to cover travel and accommodation costs.

Pricing
All tuition for all levels and subjects, and consulting is charged at £65 per hour (£85 for university level) all inclusive. Lessons are primarily online via Zoom or Teams and often involve the use of an interactive online whiteboard and/or screen sharing.

Included with this price for each well planned lesson:
- resources including topic notes, diagrams, case studies, exam technique information, exam style questions and past papers
- marking & written feedback (within reason)
- ongoing student support via WhatsApp or email (within reason)
- ongoing parent feedback and updates via WhatsApp or email
- monthly progress reports

Note: there is a discounted rate of £60 per hour if 2 or more lessons are booked weekly across any subjects.​​

Privacy Policy
We receive personal information such as your name, contact details, and tutoring preferences solely for the purpose of providing our online tutoring services. Your information is kept secure and is never sold or shared with third parties except if required by law or necessary to deliver our services. By using our services, you consent to the use of your information as described in this policy.​
Safeguarding
Child safeguarding is our top priority. Tutors have undertaken various safeguarding courses and assessments over their teaching careers and there is an ongoing commitment to always keeping children safe in education as per the government guidelines and advice. Tutors also have a DBS check (or equivalent) and are generally also on the update service.

Payments
Lessons are paid for either in advance, right after each lesson or on a weekly billing cycle by bank transfer (details provided). For clients wishing to pay via PayPal, an additional fee of 3.5% applies for each transaction to cover PayPal's fees.
Lesson Cancellation Policy
We try to be as flexible and accommodating as possible, however generally if a lesson needs to be rearranged or cancelled this must be done at least 24 hours before the scheduled lesson time. Missed lessons within 24 hours or no shows will be charged at the full hourly rate. If a tutor cancels a lesson for any reason and you have already paid, the lesson will be rearranged or a refund can also be given.
Termination Policy
If you wish to terminate your regular tuition sessions, that is not a problem, please let us know as soon as possible. The above cancellation policy applies.
Student Progress Feedback
Feedback is given regularly. Please join the video call at the beginning or end of the session for verbal feedback. Of course we also provide ongoing feedback and communication via WhatsApp or email as well as monthly progress reports. You can also schedule in a free call at a later date to discuss your child's progress.
Time Keeping
Unless otherwise arranged, all one-to-one lessons are one hour in duration. Clients are responsible for arriving for tuition on time, and lessons will end at the designated time to enable the next student to have their full lesson. If you wish to speak to the tutor, in detail, about your child's progress then please do this during the first few minutes or the last few minutes of their lesson or feel free to schedule in a separate call.
Liability
We do not hold any liability for the actions of any tutors (who are all fully self employed) that we may recommend. By using our services you agree to this.
